Beth Gall President	Regional Sales Director, Mantra Health Beth Gall has spent her career in healthcare and IT and has a passion for connecting both worlds. She most recently has focused on expanding mental health access and is currently a Regional Sales Director for Mantra Health, which is a leader in mental health and wellness solutions to support students in higher education. Prior to focusing on behavioral health, Beth worked in HIT/IS Consulting for FENEX Healthcare. Beth has been attending GKC HIMSS events since 2007 and has been on the board since 2017. She is passionate about staying in the know on industry related topics, buzz-words, advocacy items, and overall being part of a chapter that is as collaborative and fun as this one is. She has held roles supporting Programming, Communication, President-Elect, and is now your GKC HIMSS President.
Andrea Trillo Past-President	Regional Chief Information Officer, Advent Health MidAmerica Andrea Trillo currently serves as Past-President for the Greater Kansas City HIMSS Board. Ms. Trillo serves as the Regional CIO for AdventHealth, one of the largest healthcare providers in the United States. Andrea started her career as a critical care nurse and strives to keep the patient at the forefront of her efforts. In 2017 she led the AdventHealth Shawnee Mission’s effort to achieve a HIMSS Level 7 certification. In 2019, she became the CIO of AdventHealth’s MidAmerica Division. Andrea is a graduate of Park University and has a bachelor’s degree in Management/Healthcare Administration as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. She also has a Master’s in Healthcare Administration. Ms. Trillo serves on the board of her local high school booster club as the Vice President of Fundraising. In her spare time, you can find her at high school sporting events, listening to live music or cheering on any of the KC sports teams.
Abby Polich President-Elect	Managing Director & Practice Leader, Implementation Services, Nordic Abby Polich currently serves as President-Elect for the Greater Kansas City HIMSS Board. Ms. Polich serves as Managing Director and Practice Lead of Implementation Services at Nordic, a healthcare consulting firm providing health IT staffing, advisory consulting, and managed services to health systems across the globe. She is a member of the executive team and is responsible for new and add-on EHR implementations, clients extending their technology to merged or acquired entities, and those focused on enhancing their end-user education and adoption programs. Ms. Polich graduated summa cum laude from Luther College and holds an MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She also serves on the boards of AEHADA, her local elementary school PTO, and her church. In her spare time, you can find her and her husband driving their two daughters to various sporting and musical events.
Mary Stracke Treasurer	IT Director, Revenue Cycle Management Solutions, Saint Luke’s Health System Mary Stracke currently serves as the Treasurer for the Greater Kansas City Chapter of HIMSS. She is responsible for monitoring/reporting the assets and expenses for the chapter. She also helps insure that we operate in a fiscally responsible manner in meeting our budget goals. Mary has worked in the Healthcare Revenue Cycle space for more than 35 years, most of that time with Saint Luke’s Health System where she serves as IT Director, Revenue Cycle Management Solutions. She is responsible for the Revenue Cycle software utilized throughout the Health System. Mary joined the HIMSS board because she believes in the mission of education and enjoys bringing her Revenue Cycle perspective to the talented Board of Directors. Mary holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Park University and an MBA/Healthcare Administration from Avila University. In her time away from work, Mary enjoys sailing, bike riding and craft beer festivals.
David Hersch Secretary	Senior Manager, Wipfli David Hersch currently serves as Secretary for the Greater Kansas City HIMSS Board. Mr. Hersch serves as Senior Manager at Wipfli LLP, a top-20 consulting firm serving more than 70,000 clients across today’s most complex industries. He helps lead the electronic medical record team assisting with selecting, implementing, and optimizing current EMR systems. David is also involved in business development and managing complex client projects. Mr. Hersch graduated from The University of Iowa and holds an MBA from Augusta State University. He also serves as President of his Home Owners Association and Brotherhood at synagogue. In his spare time, spending time with his wife Amy and two kids. David also enjoys playing golf, cheering on the Chiefs.
Amanda Kraus Membership Chair	Department Chair/Associate Professor- Medical Information & Revenue Management, Johnson County Community College Amanda Kraus is the Membership Chair for the Greater Kansas City HIMSS Board. Amanda graduated from the University of Kansas with a B.S. in Health Information Management. She is RHIA-certified through the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) and has spent her career in the Health Information/Information Technology space. She spent 14 years with Saint Luke’s Health System, beginning in HIM as a student intern and ending in Information Technology as a system administrator and project lead for a variety of applications, including the EHR, dictation/transcription, RIS/PACS, and document imaging. She began teaching full-time at Johnson County Community College in the fall of 2016 and is currently the department chair for Medical Information & Revenue Management (Medical Coding Specialist program).
Ian Mamminga Programming Chair	Consultant, Evergreen Healthcare Partners Ian Mamminga currently serves as the Programming Chair for the Greater Kansas City HIMSS Board. He brings over 20 years of experience in Healthcare IT.  During that time, Ian has held leadership positions at Cerner Corporation, Netsmart, Nordic Consulting, and most recently at Evergreen Healthcare Partners.  He is currently serving as the Interim Associate CIO for a health system. Ian did his undergraduate work at the University of Kansas. In addition, he has an MBA from Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management and a Certificate in Healthcare Leadership from the University of Missouri - Kansas City.  Outside of work, Ian is often found at his kid’s various activities, volunteering at the local food pantry, or cheering on his favorite sports teams.
Brandi Meyers Communications Chair	VP Revenue Operations, MDClone Brandi Meyers serves as the Communications Chair for the Greater Kansas City HIMSS Board. She brings a combination of technology implementation and communications expertise from over 20 years of experience in Healthcare IT. Her background includes healthcare processes and controls with Deloitte & Touche, LLP as well as experience with data and IT roles at providers in South Louisiana. Most of her recent experience is specific to Healthcare IT with Cerner Corporation (now Oracle) across business groups focused on deliver, support, and marketing and MDClone in her current role leading client experience, sales enablement, and communications. Brandi has an undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University with a Masters in Health Administration from the University of Missouri – Columbia. Outside of work, Brandi focuses on managing the schedules of her young children, playing with the Kansas City Flute Choir, and keeping up with the local Pickleball Community.
Matt Smith Sponsorship Chair	System Director of IT Operations and Support, The University of Kansas Health System Matt currently serves at Sponsorship Chair for the Greater Kansas City (GKC) HIMSS Board. He has worked with the GKC HIMSS Board since 2013, serving as President, Communications Chair, and the HIMSS National Taskforce. Mr. Smith has also worked at The University of Kansas Health System for 17 years, in various roles. From System Administration Director, to Desktop, Support, and Operations Director. He responsibilities also include integration and expansion (merger and acquisitions) with the health system, as well as management over the regional IT teams. He is also certified and credentialed as CHCIO, CPHIMS, FHIMS, ITIL, past MCSE, Lean Six Sigma, and many other technologies. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling and camping with his family, and watching his kids compete in soccer, cross country, and track.
Denton Shanks, DO, MPH Member-at-Large	Family Physician \| Medical Director of Innovation, Digital Health, & Virtual Care \| Assistant Professor, The University of Kansas Health System/KUMC Denton is a Family Physician and a Medical Director of Innovation and Informatics within The University of Kansas Health System where he’s championing telehealth and mobile health projects and driving the digital health strategy forward. He’s also an Assistant Professor and works with the Inter-professional Teaching Clinic with students and resident physicians. He is also active in global health organizations that engage learners and helps to promote public health and sustainable continuity primary care around the world. He earned bachelor’s degrees in Biochemistry, Spanish, and Chemistry at Kansas State University, a Master’s in Public Health at Drexel University in Philadelphia, a Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine at Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed Family Medicine Residency at Unity Health Care in Washington D.C.
Rick Leesman Member-at-Large	Assistant Director of Systems Administration, The University of Kansas Health System Rick Leesmann serves as the Assistant Director of Systems Administration at The University of Kansas Health System, bringing over 15 years of industry experience to his role. He oversees critical clinical and non-clinical applications and infrastructure, showcasing his deep expertise in healthcare information technology. With a strategic perspective honed through various roles as a vendor, customer, and industry consultant, Rick plays a significant role in shaping the future of healthcare technology. Furthermore, he contributes actively as a board member for the Greater Kansas City Chapter of HIMSS, emphasizing his commitment to enhancing healthcare IT practices within the local community.
