Samme Diaz is the Chief Information Officer for the MidAmerica Division of HCA Healthcare. In this role she oversees 7 hospitals, 3 free standing ED’s, 13 urgent care centers, 83 physician clinics and 7 ambulatory surgery centers. She has been in this role for 2 years and has been with HCA Healthcare for 11 years in various leadership positions. She has a bachelor’s in Healthcare Administration and an MBA in Healthcare Management. Samme has led the MidAmerica Division in various roles including the Director of Physician Services supporting various IT systems and the Director of Technical Services, supporting all of the infrastructure. Samme moved to Kansas City from Tampa, Florida in 2018. |
