  Gretchen Britt is a determined Senior Leader with a passion for informatics, utilizing technology to remove friction and keep the focus on the patient.  As a Registered Nurse with over twenty-five years’ experience in healthcare, Gretchen spent most of her career at the bedside in the specialties of NICU, Mother Baby, CVOR, OR, and Trauma before moving into Informatics in 2017.  Gretchen’s dedication to fostering partnerships within the healthcare community has proven instrumental in developing collaborative strategies for effective care delivery.  Gretchen’s clinical background allows her to understand workflows and needs of end users while bridging the gap between clinician and technology.  Gretchen is Certified Healthcare CIO  (CHCIO), Certified Digital Health Leader, board member and advisory council member for several organizations lending her expertise as a nurse, executive leader, and technology professional.

  Samme Diaz is the Chief Information Officer for the MidAmerica Division of HCA Healthcare. In this role she oversees 7 hospitals, 3 free standing ED’s, 13 urgent care centers, 83 physician clinics and 7 ambulatory surgery centers. She has been in this role for 2 years and has been with HCA Healthcare for 11 years in various leadership positions. She has a bachelor’s in Healthcare Administration and an MBA in Healthcare Management. Samme has led the MidAmerica Division in various roles including the Director of Physician Services supporting various IT systems and the Director of Technical Services, supporting all of the infrastructure. Samme moved to Kansas City from Tampa, Florida in 2018.
