HIMSS Calls for Scholarship Applications and Award Nominations

HIMSS has officially opened this year’s Call for Scholarship Applications and Call for Award Nominations.

HIMSS Scholarships

The Call for Scholarship Applications is open Dec. 1, 2020, to Jan. 28, 2021.

Scholarship opportunities for healthcare students are available from the HIMSS Foundation.

HIMSS Foundation scholarships are awarded to HIMSS student members who have achieved academic excellence and demonstrate the potential to be future leaders in health information and technology. Scholarship recipients will be notified in April 2021.

HIMSS Health Information and Technology Awards

The Call for Award Nominations is open Dec. 8, 2020-Jan. 19, 2021. The nomination period for the HIMSS Most Influential Women in Health IT Awards will close on December 15. Most other nominations will close on January 19. See complete award information for individual deadlines.

Industry Service awards recognize individuals who have contributed to the health information and technology industries.

Chapter Awards recognize innovation and quality practices in HIMSS chapters, promoting recognition within the chapter community and HIMSS.

HIMSS Service Awards recognize individuals who have contributed significant volunteer leadership in services of HIMSS.
